During the group exhibition Believing is seeing in the Moses and Aaron Church in Amsterdam, Marieke together with dancer and actress Lilja Björk Hermannsdóttir (Iceland) presented a series of interventions.The interventions were based on a series of movements that emphasized uncertainty, vulnerability and dependency of representatives before they address an audience. The poses such as coughing, swallowing, an uncertain smile, touching clothing and looking around in an insecure manner were performed sequentially in one fluid movement. Most movements were conducted synchronously.
