You can also use Paradise to question your practical working space. What and where is the ideal place or setting for you to make art? What if you change your boundaries and discover a new area?

Marieke Warmelink
Marieke Warmelink is the founder of Paradise and facilitates you and your fellow artists.
Marieke graduated with a cum laude BA in Graphic design & video design in England as well as a fine art degree at the Rietveld Academy, in Amsterdam,The Netherlands.
Marieke is a professional artist, currently living in Bali, Indonesia. Marieke has more then 15 years experience with an international artistic practice, developing projects around the world.
Marieke received various grants and funding schemes, gave quest lectures & studio visits at different University's such as Colombia University & Pace University in New York, US. Das Arts, Artez & The Rietveld Academy in the Netherlands and Shiv Nadar University in Delhi, India.
Marieke has experience with painting as well as performance, film and video.
Marieke joined various residencies all over the world such as Turkey, India, Indonesia, New York & The Netherlands. Marieke worked as a facilitator at the famous artist in residency in Amsterdam; the Rijksakademy voor Beeldende Kunsten.
This has given Marieke Warmelink a great range of experience and inspiration to set up her own residency platform to connect international artists from all around the world and give each artist the great joy of deepening their artistic practice.
