International Performance Art Association Istanbul invited visiters to take part in the performance Democratic Kumpir by Marieke Warmelink.
Together with the audience the King exchanged visions on building a new democracy and re-designed the future through the traditional Turkish dish 'kumpir'.
In may 2013, during Month of Performance Art Berlin, Marieke Warmelink was crowned as king of a new network; Network of New Humanism.
The ‘NNH’ stands for three basic principles; equality, freedom and respect. The role of the King is to enhance, support and develop alternative forms of governance.
The King fosters an understanding of cultural unity between different nations.
