Screen Shot 2019-11-13 at 09.49.42.png

In the summer of 2019 I made this painting in commission.

I just want to show you how things can snowball into something bigger, how one painting can add value and contribute to a bigger picture.

Who would have thought this artpiece would be shown globally and be shared in the UN Women Headquarters in New York. !!!
this is in less then 3 months.....!

I hope this example inspires you to commission a painting or to donate money on my go fund me campaign..:

My work Orsine was part of #Artivism for gender equality exhibition that was displayed at the regional Civil Society Forum (410 participants) and official Regional Review Meeting (867 participants) on Beijing+25 (Beijing Platform for Action) from Geneva, Switzerland, on 28-30 October 2019.

25 art pieces were exhibited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration for Action, the most visionary agenda for women’s rights and empowerment everywhere.

The exhibition highlights struggles for gender equality and women’s rights in Europe, the United States of America, Canada, the Caucasus and Central Asia Countries. This exhibition was conceptualized by Women’s Major Group and UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia.

The content of this exhibition represents the values of the artists and reflect the views and the position of the Women’s Major Group, UN Women, EuropeAid and Women2030.

UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (RO ECA) uses the art pieces on their website and UN Women RO ECA and shares the pieces with UN Women Headquarters from New York.

The art exhibition posters will be added to the civil society compilation report on the regional meetingThis compilation report will be shared globally and will reflect the main outcomes of civil society in our region on the Beijing+25 process.
